Proactive Personnel have an exciting opportunity for a sales person who is looking to get away from the 'smash and grab' type of sales environment and build a career with one of the UK's leading manufacturers.
This role will suit a sales professional who is sales hungry but yet has a passion for account development and management. This role is office based and potentially could lead to field sales if the successful person has interest in developing into sales of that nature.
The main tasks for this person will be:
- Being first point of contact and building relationship with customers both international and domestic
- Assisting and supporting the Sales Group
- Producing quotations and following up enquiries with clients to increase sales revenue
- Taking orders over the phone or via email and upselling products whenever possible with some business development
- Raising orders in the system and relevant documentation related to the sales
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure the orders are delivered on time
- Communicating actively and providing assistance in managing customer complaints
- Deliver on associated KPI’s through performance management

- Having had exposure to export procedures would be appreciated, although we can provide training
- Have excellent IT Skills, MS Office, ERP, CRM
- Possess an ambitious mind set, want to develop and grow within the company
