Sales Support Executive(A-III)

We have an exciting opportunity to join our office-based Sales team, delivering the highest possible level of service both internally and externally. Your road to success

Left or right, this role is vital, delivering the highest possible level of service to the field based sales team, across variety of sales channels, the campaigns manager, customers and dealers by acting as an intermediary, advisor, product specialist and administrator. By efficiently and accurately providing quotes, pricing and administrative support you will be instrumental in efforts maximise our opportunities to win new customers and retain existing ones. You can do this as a Sales Support Executive with full focus on:

  • Taking responsibility for processing fleet finance proposals including necessary quotations, and pricing. Working with the pricing and risk department to ensure accurate residual values are used and all remarketing considerations are factored into new business proposals. Supporting public sector and corporate customer tender submissions.
  • Communicating clearly and efficiently to pro-actively work with the public sector, corporate and specialist sales teams to provide quotations, rate books and support with tender requirements in an efficient manner and in line with commercial and operational objectives.
  • Responding efficiently and professionally to incoming calls/emails and provide rapid responses to customers and the field sales team’s queries and requirements.
  • Accurately processing customer orders, working closely with vehicle purchasing department, OEM’s and vehicle retailers to ensure that ordered vehicles match customer requirement.
  • Responsibility for the quotation template process and internal control checks. Creating rate books and assist with customer set up for quotation portals.
  • Assisting the Sales Support Manager in the efficient running of the channel Sales Support department including reporting on department performance. You will become an authority on public sector and corporate sales channels, electric vehicles and fleet topics.

What do you take with you as Sales Support Executive for at least 37.5 hours per week? Above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate about joining our business and provides inspiration and encouragement towards the Athlon vision. In addition, you’ll have:

  • GCSE or equivalent English Language and Mathematics
  • Experience in a similar customer focused administrative role
  • Keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent telephone manner and good communication skills
  • Experience in motor fleet or retail finance industry experience is preferable
  • Sound understanding of finance industry legislation including FCA Principles, Data Protection Act, Consumer Credit Act and Anti-Money Laundering will be provided but prior knowledge is advantageous
  • Knowledge of Fleet and leasing products and principles is also preferable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent telephone manner and strong communication and negotiation skills.
