Hays Technology are recruiting Application Support Analysts specialising in either SAP HCM or SAP MM/PM to join a large public sector organisation in the Leeds area. You will be reporting to the SAP Manager during a period of change and investment within SAP 4 HANA.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be responsible for providing support for a range of existing services and applications related to SAP, including responsibilities for effective incident management. You will be part of a specialised SAP team delivering support for services that underpin a range of business-critical activities and using your excellent communication skills to aid efficient understanding.
You will be contributing to the development of new and existing key core services used by a range of business stakeholders, working closely with business change and IT change professionals to ensure systems support is fit for purpose and meets strategic and user requirements. You will be utilising skills, knowledge and experience gained through working in a SAP role to provide high quality proactive and reactive support.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience of configuring and supporting HR, Payroll and pensions SAP modules or technical experience of the MM or PM components
- Experience of writing both system documentation, including functional and system design specifications
- Experience of ECC6 and/or S4 HANA
- Detailed understanding of the business process requirements and an ability to advise on best practice
- A proven track record of successful technical troubleshooting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
