Interviews are expected to be held 23 February 2024 Salary Grade 7 (£37,099 - £44,263 p.a. depending on experience) This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements. The University Of Leeds is excited to announce that its SAP team is going through a transformation as it starts the journey to S4 HANA. You will be joining the university at a pivotal moment as the team grows to meet the university’s future needs, you will have an opportunity to take a full and active part as the university transitions from ECC6 to S4 HANA. Your role will be focused on providing support for a range of existing services and applications related to SAP Logistics, including responsibilities for effective incident management. Your excellent communication skills will be utilised when working with a wide range of IT colleagues and users. You will be part of a team delivering support for services that underpin a range of business critical activities. You will contribute to the development of new and existing key core services used by a range of business stakeholders, working closely with business change and IT change professionals to ensure systems support is fit for purpose and meets strategic and user requirements. You will utilise skills, knowledge and experience gained through working in an SAP role to provide high quality proactive and reactive support. You will work effectively, aligned to the software Application Support lifecycle ensuring effective communication and consultation with stakeholders and customers in delivering and maintaining provision of fit for purpose solutions. Working in a complex environment, your work will involve ensuring user documentation developed and maintained in line with standard operating procedures to ensure alignment with industry best practice, IT standards and regulatory compliance. You will have experience of configuring and supporting HR, Payroll and pensions SAP modules, as well as supporting interfaces with systems external to SAP.
