SalarySAP Global Trade Solution ArchitectStart: ASAPLength: 6 MonthsLocation: 4 days per week in Dublin, 1 day per week remoteMy client is seeking an experienced SAP Global Trade Solution Architect to join their team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep expertise in Global Trade processes, particularly in areas such as Compliance Management, Risk Management, and Customs Management.The SAP Global Trade Architect will be responsible for evaluating business requirements and deciding on best fit solutions utilizing existing applications and services in the clients landscape or through evaluating and recommending new solutions.The client operates in over 40 countries across North and South America, EMEA and APAC, with both global and local teams supporting trade and customs functions in these regions. They are currently 2 years into a program to introduce a global template using SAP GTS to simplify the systems landscape and harmonise business processes. SAP GTS has been deployed in several countries to manage classification, sanction party screening, preference processing, customs management including inventory managed customs processes and broker integration.In addition to SAP GTS, the client operates several other trade systems.Your Role Evaluate and define solutions for the clients business requirements in line with the client Architecture process. Create High Level (HLD) and Low Level (LLD) Design documents. Present solutions and design documents at the Architecture Review Board (ARB) to ensure designs allign to governance, security and technology standards. Work with existing applications in the Global Trade area including SAP GTS, ECC, SAP S/4HANA and Amber Road to develop roadmaps to meet the emerging business needs of the client. Will involve applying knowledge of the automotive or related industries to tailor solutions effectively, ensuring they meet industry standards and requirements. Providing strategic guidance to project teams, you'll play a crucial role in aligning project implementations with overarching business objectives and ensuring solutions are delivered in line with the design. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and partners, you'll lead by example, fostering effective communication and teamwork to drive successful business transformations.Your Background Minimum of 6 years experience in designing solutions and roadmaps in the Global Trade area Proven ability to present GTS technical concepts to business oriented teams Experience in global implementations with various regions and markets Expertise in Global Trade Process in SAP GTS, SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA. Strong background in the automotive, high tech or related industries is preferred Strong presentation and communication skills Comfortable with challenging established ways of working to bring process and automation improvements and getting agreement to change
