We have an exciting opportunity for a SAP Reporting and Analytics Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. The role is responsible for gaining continued value from our SAP data through use of a suite of evolving analytical tools, both through the transition of tools in the SAP Evolution programme and then ongoing as business as usual.

The role requires an in depth technical understanding of the SAP analytical architecture as well as the ability to work with and lead a variety of stakeholders across the business.

The SAP Reporting & Analytics Manager is responsible for the following:

  • Embedding analytics reporting principles and vision

  • Defining and shaping the TO-BE architecture for SAP reporting and analytics

  • Developing and implementing the governance for SAP reporting and analytics

  • Ensuring the reporting requirements support future business processes and have a robust solution using the decision tree

  • Preparing and designing learning pathways for SAP analysts and IT users

  • Developing and implementing a post-go-live support plan for reporting and analytics including analytics pipeline.

What does it take to be successful?

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience in reporting and analytics, with an understanding of ECC, S4/HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, Datasphere, and SAP Fiori.

  • An understanding of SAP ABAP, SQL, Python or, other programming languages relevant to SAP reporting and analytics.

  • Experience in leading and managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, teams, and systems, from initiation to closure, using agile methodologies and tools.

  • Being able and willing to proactively reach out to people and maintain necessary networks. This role works across the business and relies on direct conversation with stakeholders from various departments.

  • Able to translate technical things to non-technical audiences. This role involves gaining some in depth technical knowledge, but relies on their ability to communicate that in a meaningful way to others.

  • Inquisitive to find out how things people, data and systems interact to create value. Able to grasp the detail of how things work, spot risks and work towards mitigating them.

  • Able to work independently and maintain their own productivity, but also able to work as part of a team (SAP programme team, enterprise analytics team, analytics community team).

  • A great communicator, able to plan communications to get messages across to audiences in a way they are heard and acted on.
