Job description:

We are looking for an SAP Security & Authorisation Analyst to join our vibrant and friendly team. You will be instrumental in ensuring the Security and integrity of SAP systems within the organization. You will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of security policies and roles within the SAP landscape.

To excel in this role, you'll need to be able to take a pragmatic approach to delivery whilst maintaining rigour of security. This role requires an individual who is highly adaptable to changing technology use as well as being comfortable working autonomously.

Your remit is to analyse security risks, identify vulnerabilities, and implement measures to mitigate them effectively as well as providing support and guidance to end-users and other IT teams on SAP security matters.

• SAP Security Design and Implementation: Design, develop, and implement security policies, roles, and Authorisations within SAP systems based on business requirements and best practices.
• User Access Management: Manage user access requests, provisioning, and deprovisioning of user accounts, roles, and permissions within SAP systems.
• Role Maintenance: Regularly review and update SAP roles and Authorisations to ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Security Monitoring and Incident Response: Monitor SAP systems for security breaches, unauthorized access, and suspicious activities. Respond promptly to security incidents and conduct forensic analysis when necessary.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct risk assessments of SAP systems, identify security vulnerabilities, and implement measures to mitigate risks effectively
• Security Documentation: Maintain documentation of SAP security policies, procedures, and configurations. Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
• Security Audits and Compliance: Coordinate and support internal and external audits of SAP systems. Implement corrective actions to address audit findings and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Training and Awareness: Provide training and awareness sessions to end-users and IT teams on SAP security best practices, policies, and procedures.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, compliance, and business units, to address security-related issues and implement solutions.
• Licencing: Maintain an accurate view of licencing

This is a Hybrid role where you will need to be able to visit our Winchester office on a regular basis each month.

You’re not interested in compromising security for convenience or taking shortcuts or risks with security measures. In this role, you will deal with the analysis of security risks and the implementation of measures to mitigate them.
