This role calls for an OT Analyst to work with a talented team to secure the Industrial Control Systems. Working with the Operational Technology team, the OT Analyst will design and review the Operational Technology processes and work with senior colleagues to ensure appropriate security controls are in place.
Working with OT and the company to manage residual risk while addressing the dynamic threat landscape is a key aspect of the function. Additionally, you will create measurements, best practices, standards, and directives.
Working knowledge of regulations unique to Critical and National Infrastructure is important.
OT Analysts without prior cyber security knowledge who are eager to learn are eligible for this post.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Establishing the necessary safeguards and designing and assessing the operational technology controls.
- Analyzing cybersecurity occurrences and taking appropriate corrective or escalation action
- Conduct OT Security assessments
- Working with stakeholders to promote an understanding of relevant threats to their business
- Work with technology teams to develop effective security solutions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Technical experience within a Critical and National Infrastructure environment, including but not limited to Oil & Gas, Utilities, and Transport.
- An interest in or experience in Cyber Security
- Knowledge of regulations specific to Critical and National Infrastructure
- Experience in SCADA, PLC Configurations, and design application software for industrial systems
