SAP Specialist

Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for an IT SAP Specialist for a rolling 12-month contract, to join a multinational, automotive manufacturer based in Oxford.

Location: Oxford

Pay rate: 26.03ph

Standard working hours: Monday - Thursday 07:00am - 3:30am Friday 7:00am - 12pm

The role of System Specialist is to be the fact holder for processes and systems in product parts logistics.

Duties & Responsibilities

• SAP system configuration and on-going support, fault fixing, change implementation and testing.
• Driving measures to support process efficiency in collaboration with PSP and LSP and leading cross functional exchange to explore alternative system functionality capabilities.
• You will provide and lead end to end testing, including defect steering as well as leading go live planning, and stabilisations of new system introductions.
• Assist with installation and integration processes.
• Deliver projects from design to completion to support plant operation requirements and attending network circles.

Candidate specification

• Excellent knowledge of logistics On Time Delivery systems and processes, especially goods receiving and administration.
• Excellent IT skills with strong systems competency SAP/BOB and coding skills is desirable.
• Experience/Knowledge agile methodology and test execution is beneficial.
• Excellent project management skills are a must have.
• Must have VPS principles and be CIP driven.
• Strong understanding of SAP, S4 modules and HANNA.
• SAP warehouse management experience
• Experience within the automotive industry is beneficial
