Teaching Personnel are partnered with a variety of amazing schools across Lancashire who are desperately seeking additional adults to help with SATs preparation and general classroom duties. If so, would you like to work in one of our LIVELY mainstream primary schools in the South Shore area? This role would be within a KS1 Year 2 classroom on a long-term basis, beginning in February 2024. You will be required to work within the full classroom, providing support for all pupils. With their upcoming SATs, pupils will need extra support whether that be through tailored interventions, revision groups or helping children emotionally.
You are not required to have previous experience working within Schools, although this is preferable.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance to individual students or small groups
- Supervise students outside the classroom during lunchtime, field trips or break times
- Admin related tasks such as photocopying, collecting money etc
- Aid the class teacher where necessary
- Implement good behaviour management
The Role:
- Full time, Monday-Friday
- Hours approximately 8:30am-3:30pm
- Year 2 Teaching Assistant
- 11.85- 13 per hour
- South Shore area
