AddressOption A are looking for a Sawmill operative for one of our clients based in the East Lothian area.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a sawmill and learn the whole trade from the bottom up. Starting as a labourer / machine operator and then getting trained to use forklifts and heavy plant.
Working in a busy sawmill that make wooden lengths from logs and trees.
Responsabilities :
- lifting
- cutting
- using machinery
- using tools
- labouring
- setting up machines
- helping experienced sawmill workers and any other duties that need done on site.
- Indoor and outdoor work.
Work is Monday to Friday, long term.
Due to the location of the yard, you need your own transport as their is no bus service.
