Senior Commercial Finance Analyst

Orka Financial is working with a leading FMCG business in Middlesex who are looking for a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to join their team. You will be working as part of the Commercial Finance Team, supporting the UK’s customers, working closely with the sales account teams and providing support, analysis and financial insights on these accounts in order to deliver ambitious business objectives. This role will also take on line management responsibility and will offer a great opportunity to develop this area of a candidates experience.
Responsibilities:
To be part of a trusted team of Finance experts that are central to providing strategic business partnering insights and decision-making support to the commercial functions.
Main Purpose of Job
To provide business partnering and financial control of the Ireland and Retail (D2C) divisions in the management of their in year NTS and GP, in line with Business Objectives. This role will work closely with the account teams and provide decision support, key analysis and reporting that drive financial insights, as well as financial control and management of NTS and GP.
Retail division includes Retail stores, D2C-Ecommerce and B2B.
Profile:

• Studying towards CIMA,ACCA,ACA or equivalent – possessing a broad knowledge of Finance techniques and practices
• Previous experience in Retail/FMCG desirable
• Good working knowledge of Excel, experience of accounting systems - SAP, TPM, Cognos and TM1 preferable
• Leadership – demonstrates a sense of ownership for his/her contribution to the business and proactively shares his/her perspective
• Communicates & Collaborates Effectively – communicates in an appropriate and timely way, building understanding by listening actively and asking the right questions

Salary:
£58,000 - £65,000 + bonus + study support + benefits
