We have an opportunity for aScheme Manager (Older People Service) on a Permanent basis managing three of our Older People Services, residential schemes in Bushey. These schemes are within proximity of each other and host up to 83 self- contained flats.
As a Scheme Manager (Older People Services), you are personable, passionate and will flourish working with our residents of which some are vulnerable because of their learning or physical disabilities.
What we’re looking for:
- Do you have experience of providing support to vulnerable adults?
- Do you have a housing management background or previous supported housing experience where you have delivered good customer care?
Do you understand safeguarding and the importance of keeping accurate records?

A typical week will involve working Monday to Friday between the hours of 9AM and 5PM, no more than 35 hours per week.
A bit about the role:
As a Scheme Manager (Older People Service), you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day housing management and services provided at these schemes.
You will take full responsibility of managing the estate and monitor the services provided by others such as cleaners, contractors, or other stakeholders within Peabody.
Some of the key results for the role include:
Ensure schemes meet all statutory requirements in terms of health and safety (including fire safety).
Resident satisfaction and ensure they feel safe, secure and respected.
Identify and assess residents needs to ensure they have the right level of support.
Report repairs and maintenance.
Work with other Scheme Managers across the service and provide cover if required.

This role will require an Enhanced DBS check, a UK driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
