Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for aFloating Support Worker on a Temporary basis of up to 1 year, working with our customers across the London Borough of Haringey.
Please note there is a possibility that the fixed term period may be extended.
A bit about the role:
As a Floating Support Worker, you will be based in the Haringey Floating Support team.
You will work in the community, visiting people in their homes or in other spaces, having a caseload to provide longer term support to customers who are living with mental health challenges and need housing related advice and guidance.
You will support our customers to develop skills and confidence they need to have a more fulfilling and independent life.
You will be working under your own initiative in this lone working role with management support.
Some of the key results for the role include:
- Supporting customers to plan their recovery and manage their allocated budget as required to maintain their independence and wellbeing.
- Supporting people who have mental health challenges to manage their tenancy.
- Work in effective partnership with health professionals and specialist agencies to deliver agreed service outcomes for customers.
This role will require an Enhanced DBS check.
