Are you an experienced Highways Schemes Delivery Manager looking for a new challenge?

An opportunity has arisen for a Schemes Delivery Manager with experience in carriageway surfacing schemes to join a client in Bedfordshire. This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £375 - £400 per day - negotiable for the right candidate. Flexible working arrangements are available.
 
Your main duties include:
·Manage delivery resources to ensure successful completion of highway schemes.
·Manage health, safety, environment, and quality undertakings to ensure compliance to company and regulatory standards.
·Work with the Programme Manager and Client to define the Annual Plan/ Contractor's Plan for the portfolio.
·Undertake design surveys/ECI meeting agree works values to inform commercial target costs.
·Scrutinise the allocation of all delivery costs and agree applications for payment in line with commercial targets.
Previous experience in surfacing is essential for this role. Carrington West are also looking for Agents and Supervisors with similar backgrounds across the South of UK - please get in touch to find out more.
