Our school is seeking a dedicated School Administration Officer to join their team, responsible for a variety of clerical, administrative, financial, and organisational processes within the school. This role is pivotal in assisting with the planning and development of our business support services and ensuring the welfare of children and young people within the school.
Day to Day of the role:- Undertake reception duties, manage enquiries, and ensure adherence to safeguarding procedures.
- Contribute to the development of support service systems, procedures, and policies.
- Provide general clerical support including photocopying, filing, and routine correspondence.
- Manage manual and computerised records and school information systems.
- Analyse data, produce reports, and provide administrative support for school events.
- Operate complex ICT packages and maintain stocks and supplies.
- Maintain and collate pupil records securely and confidentially.
- Provide advice and guidance to staff, pupils, and others as appropriate.
- Assist with procurement and financial administration tasks.
- Support marketing and promotion efforts for the Federation and the school.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Competency in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Experience in clerical and administrative work, including managing a reception area.
- Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work collaboratively and handle confidential information securely.
- Resilience and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Systematic approach to record-keeping and routine work.
- Ability to work independently and meet required standards and timescales.
