Temporary School Administrator Part-time
Must drive and have use of a car, due to covering two sites
Role- Bournemouth & Poole
Pay rate £12.38 per hour
Hours 32.5 per week
9am to 4pm Monday to Friday

We are looking for a confident administrator for this role who has ideally worked within the education sector however; we can consider candidates who have worked at a hospital, GP surgery, and Medical centre or within the Care sector within a Reception/admin/coordination role.
You will be highly organised, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will have a sound knowledge of safeguarding.
We are looking for someone who lives between Bournemouth & Poole to cover the role and who drives, as you will be required to cover two sites. There is free parking on both sites.
This role will help support with some HR functions, so if you have experience of on-boarding this would be very useful.
- To cover the school’s Reception as required during the day.This will involve welcoming all visitors to the school,maintaining security of the front entrance, taking/redirecting telephone incoming calls and assisting with all enquiries.
- Support in planning school events as required.
- To liaise with other operational and administrative personnel throughout the organisation keeping them informed, giving out information in a clear legible, objective and professional manner,in a variety of ways,using the appropriate level of confidentiality.
- Follow the School’s Safeguarding procedures for reporting anyc hange instudents physical, emotional or behavioural condition, any accident or unusual incidents, any serious problems that may arise and any matter of concern expressed by the student whether physical, emotional or spiritual.
- Participate in staff group meetings and others as required.
- To assist the School Admin team with student annual reviews, meetings and minutes of meetings.
- Preparation and arranging of student exams, and liaising with relevant exam governing boards, exams departments. Also liaising with the schools teaching staff.
- To establish and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, professionals, both within the School and those visiting.
Skills and education:
GCSE pass in Math and English required
Desirable NVQ level 2 in administration
Must be proficient in MS office, to include Excel, TEAMS, outlook, Word and PowerPoint
Desirable to have Excel Publish experience
You will be required to take minutes at meetings and distribute to the relevant parties
