Actual salary £15,287

This is a fixed term position until 23rd July 2024

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.  If the role is exempt, certain spent convictions and cautions are ‘protected’, so they do not need to be disclosed, and if they are disclosed, we cannot take them into account.

We are seeking to appoint an Administration Officer to become part of our efficient and friendly administration team in a highly successful special school in Bournemouth. You will be working with Linwood Training, Support and Advice (LTSA) team.

Linwood School is an outstanding all aged range, mixed day special school which supports a comprehensive range of special educational needs including moderate, severe and profound learning difficulties and autistic spectrum.

The postholder will primarily undertake administration duties for Linwood Training, Support and Advice, hosting and supporting online and face to face training as well as processing administration and tasks distributed by the Director of that department. 

The successful applicant will require excellent interpersonal skills with a very good knowledge of IT including the use of all Microsoft Office packages and Zoom.  Previous office experience is essential and previous school experience would be desirable.

The position is for 25 hours per week to be worked over 5 days between the hours of 9.30 am and 2.30 pm term time only.  Working days could be negotiated to support a flexible way of working.
