Job description

Office Administrator

We are recruiting for an Office Administrator who will be able to manage daily administrative tasks, including basic bookkeeping. Strong communication, a good telephone manner, and customer service skills are essential. The ideal candidate is reliable, professional, and skilled at multi-tasking and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering emails and telephone calls, transferring them as necessary
  • Scheduling appointments and meetings
  • Ensuring that all queries are dealt with promptly and professionally
  • Day-to-day reconciliation of invoices
  • Matching purchase orders with invoices
  • Placing orders with suppliers (with relevant information provided by the Business Development Manager)

The successful applicant must have:

  • At least 2 years’ experience of providing reception or administration support
  • Reasonable knowledge of generally accepted bookkeeping principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly
  • Good telephone manner, experience in dealing with customers and call handling, and a positive, polite, and professional attitude

Benefits:

  • £27,000 - 30,000
  • Training, where required, will be given
  • On-site parking

Conditions of Work:

  • This role will be fully office based
  • Normal hours of work will be 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday
