We are seeking two School Administrators for a Secondary school in the south of Liverpool after the Easter break. The ideal candidate will be organised, efficient, adaptable, and capable of working under pressure. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the school's administrative functions.
Role 1 - 1 month role in the SEN department
Role 2 - Until the end of school term
Day-to-day of the role:
- Welcoming visitors to the school, addressing their enquiries, and providing exceptional front-of-house service.
- Handling incoming phone calls with professionalism and courtesy.
- Overseeing administration related to pupil attendance, ensuring accuracy and compliance with school policies.
- Managing incoming and outgoing email and post, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Utilising IT systems to draft letters, emails, reports, and newsletters that support school operations and communication.
- Monitoring school supplies and managing inventory to ensure resources are readily available.
- Keeping accurate financial records, supporting the school's budgeting and expenditure processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using IT systems, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email management.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Experience in financial record-keeping is desirable.
