We are a small but highly effective team that know how to get the job done. We are are looking for a hardworking and tenacious individual to join us as a Schools Admissions Officer known internally in LCC (Lincolnshire County Council) as an Admissions Caseworker. Why not join us?
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for their own individual caseload covering School Admissions across Lincolnshire. You will need an eye for detail assessing each case on an individual basis adhering to the authorities policies and procedures. We are looking for an experienced candidate who can work on multiple projects at any one time. To do this you will need to have great organisational and interpersonal skills but most importantly we need someone who will excel at providing excellent customer service.

Overall, the structure of the team and the way we work is quite relaxed, working autonomously with minimal supervision, so don't expect to be micromanaged here. That said on joining the team, you will be well supported, but you will be able to find your feet quickly. You will need to be agile in your approach to work and able to respond swiftly to the demands of the service. About you
You will be a dynamic and self-motivated individual who is able to work effectively under pressure with experience managing conflicting deadlines. This is a smarter working opportunity so the ability to prioritise, manage and make informed decisions independently is essential.
- Education to A-Level or equivalent
- Experience of working in a local authority, school or equivalent setting is desirable.
- A basic understanding of the education law and statutory codes of practice with respect to admissions and related issues, practices and procedures is preferable.
- Evidence of good verbal and written communication skills, able to present information in a clear way.
- Experience of accurately capturing, storing and retrieving information to meet organisational and customer needs
The most important attributes for the successful candidate will be the right skills and attitude to contribute effectively to a fast-moving, high-profile area of work.
