Ashdown Primary is a split site two-form primary school in Crowborough, East Sussex. We are seeking to appoint a School Business Manager from August 2024 to join our Senior Leadership Team to provide guidance, advice and management information to the Executive Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team, Governing Body and staff on all financial and resource management issues. He/she will also undertake the role of Health and Safety Co-ordinator for the school. The successful candidate will:
- be experienced and have a proven track record in finance, health and safety, premises and administration management
- have the ability to lead a team and work effectively as part of a team
- have core finance and accounting skills with experience in managing and monitoring budgets
- be committed to school improvement as part of the Senior Leadership Team
- possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
