Client Details
We are seeking a School Business Manager to support a school on the Wirral. You will support the headteacher and governors in ensuring the smooth and successful running of the school. You will be responsible for supporting in areas such as finance, human resources, facilities, administration and health and safety. You will have a relevant qualification in business management or equivalent experience in a similar role. You will also have excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. You will have the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including staff, parents, pupils, governors, and external agencies.
Description
- Oversee and manage the financial affairs of the school
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and procedures
- Manage all administrative and operational aspects of the school
- Lead the development and implementation of the school's financial strategy
- Coordinate the preparation of budgets and financial reports
- Manage procurement and contract services
- Lead and manage support staff
- Contribute to the strategic planning and development of the school
Profile
A successful School Business Manager should have:
