School Business Manager - Blagdon Nursery School

Required for Summer Term 2024 - Permanent - Part time, 25 Hours per week - Term time plus 2 weeks and 5 Inset days

The Executive Headteacher and Governors of the REYS federation are seeking to appoint a professional, highly organised, conscientious and efficient School Business Manager, joining our highly committed team at Blagdon Nursery School, which is part of the REYS federation.

Our School Business Manager will support the Executive Headteacher and Head of School by strategically leading and managing all aspects of finance, facilities management and personnel, plus leadership of the administrative staff.

The successful applicant will:

• Have experience of budget management, human resources and site management at a senior level
• Be confident in your ability to advise and guide the school leadership team, prioritising the needs of the children in every decision made
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work calmly under pressure.
• Be able to prioritise and manage a complex workload, and to work independently
• Ability to be flexible to meet the needs of the two schools
• Be able to work under your own initiative and as part of a team.
• Have excellent IT skills
