Salary- Location: Cramlington
- Job Type: Part-Time 15 hours per week.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM (Term time, plus an additional 10 days)
We are currently supporting a vibrant school community in their search for a dedicated and vigilant School Caretaker. This part-time role is integral to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff in Cramlington.
Day to Day of this School Caretaker:- Conduct regular security checks to ensure the safety of the premises.
- Oversee the opening of school facilities each morning (Key holder)
- Perform basic maintenance tasks and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with the setup of classrooms and event spaces to facilitate educational activities.
- Maintain outdoor areas, ensuring they are tidy and safe for children.
- Monitoring utilities usage.
- Stock management: ordering and safe storage.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.
- Preferred experience in maintenance or a similar role.
- Strong communication skills and a reliable nature.
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if necessary).
