SalaryAre you an experienced School Caretaker looking for an exciting opportunity in Bromley? Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated individual to join the team at a large secondary school starting immediately.
Position: School Caretaker
Location: Bromley, London
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: £15.50 per hour depending on experience
Role Responsibilities:
- Ensure the cleanliness, maintenance, and security of the school premises.
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks and repairs as required.
- Monitor and manage school facilities including heating, lighting, and security systems.
- Support the setup and breakdown of events and activities within the school.
- Assist with health and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a School Caretaker or similar role is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations related to school premises.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for special events or emergencies.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (this can be arranged through Tradewind).
