School Cleaner

Premier Work Support are excited to be currently recruiting for a School Cleaner to start working at a School on a temporary part time basis for an immediate start in the Hassocks area. There may be the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate with room for progression stepping into a Twilight Supervisor role. You will be working independently to provide cleaning services, to complete daily cleaning tasks. An enhanced DBS check will be required. Duties will include touch-point cleaning and sanitising throughout the different areas, canteen and restrooms, sports hall, classrooms. For example: Entrance doors & reception Cupboard & door handles Light & socket switches Bin lids, taps, toilet doors/flushes and soap and hand towel dispensers Desks, keyboards and printer switches as required Full training will be given for this role. Working Days: Sunday to Thursday You will begin as a cleaner and after learning the team routines, you should be able to manage them and assist with additional responsibilities. Cleaner Hours: 18:00 - 22:00 or 22:30 Pay Rate: £11.66 per hour If successful, you will then transition to the Twilight Supervisor role. Twilight Supervisor Hours: 16:00 - 21:00 Pay Rate: £12.57 per hour For health and safety and insurance purposes, you must have a good understanding of the English language, both verbally and written as you will be working alone without supervision whilst at work.
