Summary
The Governing Board of St James' Lanehead are looking to recruit a new cleaner for our wonderful school. They will undertake normally (as part of a team), the cleaning of designated areas within school premises to ensure that they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition. Duties will include: cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning, emptying of litter bins, polishing and dusting of the designated areas (which may include toilets) and fixtures and fittings, using where appropriate powered equipment. In return we will provide a safe, happy working environment where staff well-being is paramount.
Through excellent CPD, and staff meetings this is an environment where all staff feel valued. More detail is provided in the Person Specification attached to this advert. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 3.30pm-6pm throughout TERM TIME with 2 additional weeks work during the school holidays which is usually completed through 4 x 7.5 hour days as deep clean days.
