We currently have an exciting full-time opportunity for a Cleaning Supervisor to join our Facilities Management team at the Jack Hunt School in Peterborough. This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week from 07:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday.
Key activities:
Reporting to the Facilities Services Manager
Supervise the cleaning team and provide an effective and professional cleaning service at the Jack Hunt School
General duties including allocation of cleaning tasks, supervising, monitoring and auditing
Manage stock and maintain appropriate records
Ensure all shifts are adequately covered in cases of absence
Working 40 hours per week from 07:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday
Skills, qualifications and experience:
Previous supervisory experience in a cleaning role is essential, ideally in the education sector
Must have experience of working in a customer focused environment
Able to communicate clearly and effectively with all types of people
A flexible and proactive approach to work
Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements relevant to the equipment and chemicals being used
Ability to work on own initiative to meet requirements of the role
Due to working alongside children, successful applicants will be subject to a DBS check
