Systems Integration Engineer
Peterborough, Hybrid (3 days on site, 2 days working from home)
Initial 12-month contract, very likely to be ongoing for the right person!

Are you an experienced Systems Integration Engineer with a passion for cutting-edge technology and a keen interest in battery systems? We're seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our client who specialises in powertrain solutions for the heavy machinery industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the integration tasks for advanced battery systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance
- Apply your FMEA experience to identify potential failure modes and develop robust solutions to enhance system reliability
- Utilize your skills in Office 365, Matlab, CANape, and potentially Python to design, implement, and optimize data analysis and integration processes
- Showcase your ability to automate processes, streamlining system integration tasks and improving overall efficiency
- Engage with the global teams, sharing insights, and collaborating effectively to achieve company objectives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- Expertise in FMEA methodologies
- Proven experience in Systems Integration, with a focus on battery systems would be desirable
- Proficiency in Office 365, Matlab, and CANape. Coding experience (Python etc.) would be considered
- Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and self-motivated with a keen attention to detail
