As a Catering Manager, you have a passion for preparing and serving high-quality food to children and staff, whilst thriving on providing exceptional customer service and remaining calm under pressure.
With your creative mindset and strong knowledge of food production and presentation techniques, you pride yourself on ensuring health and safety and food hygiene regulations are adhered to, whilst striving to promote healthy eating to all customers. The Key Requirements: Experience of producing homemade savoury dishes and home baking Minimum of an NVQ in Cookery/Hospitality is required Managing a team (including managing their performance, training and development, absence management) Taking an active part in any unit sales promotions Ordering products via the online portal Carry out a stock take when required Ability to promote a welcoming environment to customers Polite and friendly Work well under pressure Good understanding of food hygiene is essential Experience of working with food previously is essential To perform duties as directed by the Area Manager A 'can do' attitude, prepared to assist the rest of the team
