Our client's School is in many ways unique, offering an independent education of the highest calibre to children with academic potential, from all walks of life in a caring, boarding and day environment. Everyone employed by the School has a direct or indirect impact on the pupils who live and study there.
 
They have 2 vacancies to join their small friendly onsite Medical Centre team.  The work includes caring for pupils in their in-patient unit, taking daily surgeries and being available to give health advice to the pupils.
 
Their school Medical Centre is operational 24 hours per day, 7 days a week during term time and generally staff work a mixture of day and night shifts on a rota basis. The successful candidate will work a shift pattern of up to 46 hours per week term time (33 weeks per year plus 2 weeks CPD) and will generally work 2 nights and 3 days a week. There is some flexibility with the hours, and they are happy to consider part-time applications who would be happy to work at least 1 night per week alongside some daytime shifts.
 
Flexibility, good communication skills and the confidence to work unsupervised are essential.  Applicants will ideally be able to start in September 2024 and be able to evidence their RGN qualification and current NMC Registration. RN Child is also desirable. However, they will also consider paramedics who can evidence suitable experience.  In return they offer:
