A brilliant partner school in Ealing is seeking to appoint an experienced and proactive School Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing the day-today operations, supporting the Executive Head and Heads of School, and collaborating with the finance team.
School Operations Manager Key responsibilities:
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement across the schools’ operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- School Operations Manager will oversee the Facilities team and caretakers.
- Support the executive head and heads with effective financial management of the school budgets, including resource monitoring and fund administration, working closely with finance.
- Investigate and optimise the school’s income from various sources, including those for capital developments, while ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Develop new ideas and approaches to generate additional income through marketing, business links, sponsorship, and other funding streams in support of Executive Head initiatives.
- Assist in executing the strategic financial plan aligned with the school’s development pan regarding operational aspects of the business.
- Manage costs and spending against the budget through detailed tracking and communication of year-to-date and planned expenditures to the Executive Head.
- Degree level qualification.
- Experience as a School Operations Manager or similar role.
- Ability to influence decision making within the school.
- Flexibility with working hours to meet the school’s needs.
- Ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children and young people.
