School Operations Manager vacancy at a fantastic partner school in Southwark, £45,000 - £50,000.
The school are seeking to appoint an experienced and pro-active School Operations Manager who will be responsible for managing and executing the day-to-day operations and will support the Executive Head and Heads of School and work with Finance accordingly.
School Operations Manager summary:
- School Operations Manager salary is £45,000 - £50,000.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement across the school’s operations, working to improve efficiency and effectiveness in all aspects of the school’s support services.
- Line Manager for Facilities Team & Caretakers.
- Provide support to the Executive Head & Heads to ensure the effective financial management of the school budgets, including resource monitoring and administering of funds and accounts, liaising closely with finance.
- Investigate, support, and maximise the school’s income from other sources, including those supporting capital developments whilst delivering a premium product.
- Investigate and develop new ideas and approaches to generate additional income through marketing, new and current business links, sponsorship, and other funding streams in support of Executive Head initiatives.
- To assist in executing the strategic financial plan which addresses the requirements of the school’s development plan with regards to operational aspects of the school’s business.
- Manage costs and spend against budget through detailed phasing and communication of year to date spend against budget and planned spend to Executive Head.
School Operations Manager requirements:
- Degree level qualification
- Experience as School Operations Manager or similar role
- Able to influence decision making within the school.
- Willingness to be flexible around working hours to meet the needs of the school.
- Ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children and young people.
