Leeds Trinity University has been a provider of teacher training at undergraduate and postgraduate level throughout its 50-year history. We now wish to build upon our established reputation in this field to meet our wider strategic objectives of becoming one of the best providers of teacher training in the UK. This will involve enhancing our working partnerships with schools and others to ensure that Leeds Trinity engages positively with the current changes in Initial Teacher Training and Continuing Professional Development. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and maintaining partnerships between Leeds Trinity and external education partners including schools and other relevant organisations. The postholder will join a dynamic team responsible for developing mutually beneficial partnerships with primary and secondary academies schools and trusts; sourcing and managing school-based placements for students on our undergraduate and post graduate programmes. The successful candidate will have working experience and/or knowledge of partnership and placement activities in the education sector. They will be solution focussed and have excellent interpersonal communication skills, a proactive approach to relationship building and experience of systems management and data handling. Resourcefulness and well-developed administration and organisation skills are essential.
