School Pupil Referral Unit AdministratorBased in Erdington, BirminghamGBP12 - GBP13phYour new company A Special Needs School which specialises in behavioural issues is looking for a school administrator to carry out long term cover on an ongoing basis. The cover is Monday to Friday, term time only, 8.00 am - 4.00 pm.Your new role You will be required to carry out a variety of tasks within this busy centre There will be a high level of contact with pupils. Duties will include making and taking phone calls, use of Centre mobile, greeting pupils, parents and vetting visitors. Use of electronic visitor system, pupil data maintenance. Must be confident in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel . Maintenance of paper and electronic files and records. You support Centre daily routines and systems to help them run smoothly. Copying, scanning, laminating. Ordering pupil lunches. This is a very busy office and needs someone with a proactive approach and someone that can work in a pressurised environment.Please note that you will have contact with children at the centre who have a number of behavioural issues and at times can be volatile.What you'll need to succeed You will need to have a high level of communication skills and be able to work quickly under your initiative. You will also have recent satisfactory references for carrying out a similar placement within the last 2 years.
