Hays Education are working with Leicestershire schools who are seeking an experienced Receptionist. This is a flexible role looking for an immediate start to provide ongoing temporary cover. Please see below the requirements for the role and contact me asap to start the registration process.
Your new role
In your new role you will be required to manage the busy reception area, at times taking sole responsibility for the smooth running of the reception.
Key duties include:
• Meeting and greeting visitors, pupils, staff, and parents at the front desk.
• You will be responsible for answering the telephone and directing all calls to the appropriate personnel.
• General ad hoc administrative duties within the office using SIMS
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you must have prior experience working in a receptionist role, preferably within an educational setting. School systems knowledge would be an advantage; Integris, SIMS, Scholar Pack etc. Operating in a busy reception area in a school is an extremely demanding role, and you must be able to do multi-tasks.
