Winner Education are currently recruiting for a caretaker/site supervisor for a primary school in Sutton Coldfield to carry out day to day general maintenance and site work. This role is a full-time, temporary to permanent placement. You must be available for an immediate start due to the urgency of this role with a DBS on the update service.
Duties and Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Carry out general maintenance and DIY works around the School Site
- Deal with external contractor visits and liaising with contractors through any major works
- Open and close the school buildings
- Move furniture/equipment when required
- Fire safety checks
- Legionella checks
- PAT testing
The successful caretaker will:
- Have sound technical knowledge of buildings
- Be professional and presentable
- Require previous school caretaking experience
- Have a valid DBS on the update service
- Be flexible with working hours and job requirements
