School Sports Assistant (Full time/Temporary)

The ideal person will develop life-long positive attitudes to sport, physical activity and healthy living. The School Sports Assistant will be able to teach and engage with pupils aged between 11-16 years with Social, Emotional or Mental Health needs. There may also be classroom support on your timetable, so it is important to be flexible and adaptable.

A specialist school in Bury is seeking a School Sports Assistant with a passion for physical education and a desire to use sports activities and lessons as a tool to aid motivation, confidence, and emotional resilience.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of School Sports Assistant you will:
- Have a positive mindset to inspire children through sport.
- Have relevant experience delivering sports to young people.
- You will need to be resilient, empathetic, patient and not take things too personally.
- Have relevant experience of working with children, young people or vulnerable adults.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Daily rate is subject to your scale rate, experience in role and qualifications which will be discussed at the point of registration.
