Science Teacher - Immediate Placement

Are you a skilled and adaptable educator with expertise in teaching Science? We have an contract to for a Science Teacher to be placed at an Ofsted rated 'Good School'school in Huntingdon.

We are partnering with our client school to find a dedicated and qualified teacher for a temporary position, specialising in Science and happy to cover some Computer Science.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering engaging lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and contributing to the overall academic success of the students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality lessons in Science and Computer Science following the school's curriculum and educational standards.
• Creating an inclusive learning environment that promotes intellectual curiosity and critical thinking.
• Providing timely and constructive feedback to students, supporting their academic progress and personal development.
• Effectively managing classroom behavior to ensure a safe and respectful atmosphere.
• Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school's commitment to excellence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching Science and/or Computer Science at the secondary school level.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and relevant educational frameworks.

Skills and Attributes:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Adaptability and flexibility to cover a temporary position.
• Organised and detail-oriented with effective classroom management skills.
