We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join the dynamic team from September 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality science lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and potentially 5.
- Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies to enhance students’ understanding and enthusiasm for science.
- Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching science within the UK education system.
- Strong subject knowledge across all sciences, with a specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics being advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Enthusiasm for fostering a positive learning environment and inspiring students.
Desirable Attributes:
- Experience in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
- A track record of raising student achievement in science.
- Participation in extra-curricular activities or science-related clubs.
