Empowering Learning is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Qualified Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Barking and Dagenham as soon as possible.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching Science and will possess a strong track record of delivering high-quality Science lessons to secondary school students. You will have experience of teaching the full range of Science ability levels and be able to demonstrate excellent classroom management skills.
Responsibilities:
· Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Science lessons to KS3 + KS4
· Develop and deliver effective assessment methods that accurately measure student progress and identify areas for improvement
· Support and motivate students to achieve their full potential, both academically and personally
· Contribute to the development and implementation of the Science curriculum, ensuring that it is relevant, engaging and up-to-date
· Collaborate with other members of staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
· Participate in extra-curricular activities, such as school trips and events, as required
Requirements:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
· Proven experience of teaching Science at secondary school level
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong organisational and time management skills
· A commitment to continuous professional development
