We at Twenty4Seven Education are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Science Teacher to join one of our esteemed secondary schools in Coventry.
As a Science Teacher, you will have the chance to spark students' curiosity and deepen their understanding of scientific concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and interactive Science lessons that cover a range of topics including biology, chemistry, and physics.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated and empowered to explore and excel in science.
Utilize a variety of teaching resources, experiments, and technology to enhance students' understanding and engagement with scientific concepts.
Differentiate instruction to support students of varying proficiency levels, providing tailored support and challenge as needed.
Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their scientific inquiry and critical thinking skills.
Collaborate with colleagues to enrich cross-curricular connections, organize science-related activities, and promote scientific literacy beyond the classroom.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification in science education.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
Experience teaching science to students of varying ages and proficiency levels (preferred but not required).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting scientific curiosity among students.
