We are seeking a Computer Science teacher to become part of a values-driven multi-academy trust that is rich in cultural and social diversity. We are looking for an inspirational teacher who can ignite a passion for Computer Science in our students and help them achieve their full potential.
Day to Day of the role:- Deliver engaging and dynamic Computer Science lessons to students aged 11-16.
- Inspire a sense of curiosity and a love for the subject, while creating opportunities for students to deepen their learning through cross-curricular links.
- Drive up standards and expectations within the department, ensuring that students regularly experience success and progression.
- Act as a role model for staff and students, embodying the academy’s values and ethos.
- Contribute to the development of teaching materials and curriculum planning.
- Participate in and contribute to CPD sessions and professional development opportunities.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Computer Science or a related subject.
- A track record of delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to excel in Computer Science.
- Strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
