You will be teaching Business/ICT at a school that prides itself on preparing children for their lifelong journey ahead. Academy leaders have made vast improvements to the curriculum in the past few years, and you will be clear on what you need to teach. In your lessons students embark on a journey covering content and developing skills through engaging and practical activities. They will experience a fluid movement throughout KS3, KS4 and potentially KS5 where applicable.

This secondary school is based in Birmingham and is recruiting a permanent Business/ICT (QTS). You will be teaching Business/ICT to KS3, KS4 and potentially KS5 where applicable, to pupils and inspiring pupils to exceed their target grades. The successful candidate will need to be able to start in September but the schoolare open to taking on candidates earlier for the right fit.
Salary: Main page scale depending on experience
Plus an additional £3000 Recruitment and Retention payment over 3 years for the right candidate
To be successful in your application, you should;
• Hold a relevant Teaching qualification
• Have knowledge of teaching English
• Be able and willing to travel to the Birmingham area
• Have high expectations of yourself in your career and the pupils you teach
