*** 1:1 and small group support for under-achieving GCSE Science students.

Requirements:
• At least a bachelor’s degree in a science-related field.
• Strong knowledge of scientific concepts.
• Passion for the education of students aged 11-16.
• Dedication to the learning and wellbeing of young people.
• A warm, friendly personality.
• Previous experience of working with students or in a school setting is beneficial, but not mandatory.
The Role
• Assisting teaching staff in the planning and delivering of engaging GCSE Science lessons.
• Assessing students’ work and providing constructive feedback.
• Tracking student progress and creating support strategies.
• Aiding staff in running extracurricular activities.
• Providing 1-2-1 and small group interventions to improve the attainment of GCSE Science students.
• Participating in staff meetings and parents’ evenings.
