Location: Salford
Qualiteach is currently looking for an experienced Science Technician for a mainstream secondary academy based within the Salford area. The role is due to begin on 15/04/2024 and is offered on a full-time, permanent basis.
Ideally you will have worked as a Science Technician within a school, academy or college previously but the school are happy to consider applicants with a strong science background with industry experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up and clearing away the equipment
- Assisting the science teacher with practical science experiments
- Ensuring all aspects of health & safety are adhered to
- Stock control
- Ensuring all equipment is safe and stored safely
- Supporting the science department and head of science as and when required
Key Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
- Able to start on 15/04/2024 and commit on a permanent basis
- Excellent communication skills
- High attention to detail
