Scientific Sales Executive - Hybrid
Salary: £37,000-£42,000 + 30% commission
Location: South East London (Hybrid - 50% office-based, with some travel to customer sites)
A global leader in laboratory equipment is currently seeking a hybrid salesperson to develop sales for their analytical instrumentation range. The successful candidate will have the primary responsibilities of assisting existing clients and spearheading new business growth within the UK and on an international basis. The ideal candidate will become a valuable member of a highly motivated international team.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintaining current business and cultivating fresh accounts by means of prospecting, lead generation, and subsequent engagement.
• Efficiently managing the designated territory, including direct oversight of sales projects and negotiations.
• Assisting in the advancement of customer applications.
• Participating in conferences and exhibitions.
• Aiding in the formulation of marketing communications for customers.
• Delivering sales presentations and demos to demonstrate instrument functionality.
Candidate Requirements
• Desirable candidates should possess a degree in scientific field e.g. chemistry, life sciences or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Ideal candidate has previous sales/commercial/customer-focused experience
• Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
• Willingness to be on site in the office 2-3 days a week
• Full UK Driving Licence
