Permanent position - Full time
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Burner in Aberdeen. The Burner will be responsible for cuting and burning scrap metal, whilst also perform maintenance on equipment as needed.
* Understanding of safety practices
* Ability to read and follow technical drawings
* Operate cutting torches
* Dismantle railcars and cut unprepared steel
* Perform general maintenance and upkeep of equipment
* Perform manual labor, such as hand sorting loose materials
Experience required:
* Previously worked with Industrial equipment
* Experience with maintenance of equipment
* Knowledge of different types of metals and their properties
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work well in a team environment
