Nigel Wright Recruitment are excited to be supporting a dynamic and rapidly expanding Software as a Service (SaaS) company in their search for an experienced and motivated SDR Manager. Based in Newcastle City Centre, this newly created role will play a pivotal role in creating and shaping the sales development efforts and will lead and inspire a team of Sales Development Representatives to generate high-quality leads and support driving revenue growth. Role Profile:
- Build and develop a high-performing SDR team from the ground up
- Recruit, train, and onboard new SDRs, ensuring they understand the value proposition and sales process
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture
- Define lead generation strategies and optimise outbound prospecting efforts
- Set clear goals and KPIs for the SDR team
- Monitor performance metrics and provide regular feedback to enhance lead conversion rates
- Continuously improve lead qualification processes
- Collaborate with internal colleagues to ensure a seamless customer journey
- Provide regular reports to senior management
Person Specification:
- Proven experience as an SDR Manager or similar role in a SaaS environment.
- Previous demonstrable experience in an outbound sales role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in CRM tools.
- Results-oriented mindset and a passion for achieving targets.
Other Information:
This role will be predominantly based out of new offices in Newcastle City Centre. Whilst there may be some flexibility to work from home occasionally, this is a brand new team therefore the expectation is for this to be more office based.
